Who We Are
VISION
CLACK provides digital and AI education opportunities for teenagers facing challenges such as financial hardship and chronic school absenteeism.
MISSION
Establish an infrastructure that provides supportive accompaniment through digital tools for underprivileged junior high school and high school students.
We provide support programs for teenagers facing
the following challenges:
- financial hardship
- responsibilities as a young caregiver
- the consequences of bullying
- living in a single-parent household
- chronic school absenteeism
- Diagnosed developmental disorders
What We Do
STEP 1
ENCOUNTER
Bring the world of IT for teenagers overcoming challenges, and empower them to take their first step into creating with technology.
Creative Hub
There are creative hubs in two locations, Tokyo and Osaka, that serve as safe spaces for junior high and high school students facing challenges. These hubs provide digital devices such as VR equipment, gaming PCs, and laser cutters, offering an entry point into digital education, along with face-to-face support.
Programming Workshop
A workshop introducing teenagers to web development, programming, and AI technologies.
AI training program

( mirAI for Japan )
mirAI for Japan is a generative AI training program for teachers at technical and high schools, conducted in collaboration with Microsoft. It aims to empower educators with the knowledge and confidence to lead in the age of AI.
STEP 2
LEARNING
Building self-esteem and future readiness through digital and career education that expands career opportunities and supports both financial and emotional independence.

Tech Runway
is a 3-month programming course with career support designed to help high school students facing challenges build self-reliance.
Tech Runway+
is a 3-month program for Tech Runway alumni to deepen their knowledge through advanced and specialized training.

Be Pro is a program where participants learn practical, professional IT skills used in the real world and expand their career options by taking part in one-day internships at multiple companies to experience working with IT.

IMPLEMENT
Foster self-directed learning and acquire core competencies for future career paths.

quest is a program that allows Tech Runway alumni to gain hands-on experience with real IT-related work, such as website development. Participants also receive compensation for their contributions.

Challenges We Face
in Supporting Teenagers
1.
Connecting with Them
- ︎After compulsory education ends, many teenagers lose contact with public support systems, making it difficult for us to maintain engagement.
- Limited prior learning experiences mean many teens lack the skills to independently seek out necessary information, posing a challenge in guiding them effectively.
2.
Encouraging Their Action
- Breaking through the cycle of school and home life is a significant hurdle; motivating teens to take that initial step requires persistent effort.
- Opportunities for self-reflection are scarce, so helping teens realize the need to take proactive steps to improve their situation remains a key challenge.
3.
Supporting Continuity
- Low self-esteem and little experience in overcoming challenges often lead to discouragement from minor setbacks, impacting sustained participation.
- Even when motivated, competing priorities such as part-time jobs or social invitations frequently interrupt their commitment, making ongoing support essential.
